PartyPoker (real money help)

Hi guys,
i'm planning to start playing partypoker with real money. I've read about the way they cash out:
Before you are able to cash out monies deposited by you or received by way of Inter-Account Transfer or Gift Certificate you must first have earned Standard Player Points with such monies (excluding any bonus points awarded) greater than or equal to15% of the amount received in USD ('Release Requirements'). Where such monies are deposited or received in a currency other than USD, the required 15% of Player Points must be calculated on the value of such monies in USD (based on the exchange rates offered by us at the point of cash out. Providing you have earned the required player points you will be able to cash out up to $3,000/£ 1,500/€2,000 without further restriction. If you wish to withdraw more you must first provide us with a copy of your government issued ID. Once verified you will be able to cash out higher amounts providing the required player points have been earned.
I don't get it. Can anyone help me with this? What are Standard Player Points and how do I earn them?
If I deposit $10, how much do I need to win before I can cash out?

you need 15% of the player points to the money you are withdrawing.
say you want to withdraw $200, you would need 30 player points to do that.

You get Standard Player Points (SPP) by playing a ring game (cashgames), for every hand.
You need 15% in FPP of your total cash-out amount.
Say you make $100, that means you'll need 15FPP's (which is nothing, trust).
I've been playing online poker for 2 years btw, on low-mid level stakes, and over 240k hands.
If you're seriously going into it, I strongly suggest using software that logs ALL hand information

You can learn so much from this it's incredible.
Any other questions go for it

There's a rate for each website, as there is more/less value to these Player Points on different poker sites. Look around on the website you'll find it there somewhere. Don't know it off the top of my head because I only played on partypoker when I first started which is a long time ago.
I now play on Everest Poker, Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars.
If you've never played before I strongly recommend you play with PlayMoney for a while..
grrr pinny you beat me twice now!

I have a friend in college that pays his rent entirely from the money he makes on online poker. Peoples be careful of gambling..its just like crack, it isnt hard to get sucked into addiction.

I felt like online poker again the past few days. I lost $50 today and yesterday. Day before i was up $25.
I should really stay away from online poker. End up having a few unlucky hands and losing around 10 hours of earnings. xD
But then when i do get into decent profits i always end up wasting it in the massive multi table tournys, hoping to win thousands.

Cheeky Edit:
Oh and if you decide to sign up to full tilt poker, if you feel really really kind let me know and use my link to get some bonus. I'm an affiliate there, so i get a nice bonus for real signups.

Hmm hero, in that case you should be confident enough!!
Just one massive protip; pay attention. playmoney players will shove with not much of a hand, and so did you. But at real money you'll instantly notice people are 80% more tight, and if they bet big, they WILL have something.
Just start at the lowest stakes. Which'll be like .01 and .02.

Well, i agree kinda but you still have a lot of fish until at least 0.10/0.25 . Before then you have all the retarded short stacked players who keep going all-in with Ax / J10 and shitty hands like that.

People who play 2/5/10NL are beginners only. You won't/rarely have someone with a clue, as these will be at 25NL where they can make some cash. Beginners are careful.
All low stakes on all websites have fish... bit of an obvious statement you made.

But your contradicting yourself.
Fish arn't careful. Fish arn't tight. They are fish because they dont know what their doing.. therefore playing hands which they shouldnt be playing.
and if they bet big, they WILL have something.
so no.
