Okay lets talk about not "amature" stuff. More like a movie like sony pictures do and stuff like that. How do those company go by putting the movies on theatres

I'm like 51% sure the theaters contact the production company to obtain the film instead of the other way around...

^ It works both ways.
Also you might want to look into the Sundance network, they broadcast alot of user made videos.

well the movies dont need to say anything to the theaters they make the movie and the cinemas buy it and sell each viewing off to the public
think of it more like a shop coke makes the drink, shop buys the drink and sells it onto the public

seems im not bullshitting thats how it works the cinemas buy the reel and then sell it out to the people wanting to see it and trust me these reels cost a **** load of cash they aint cheap but the more popular a movie is the more screens they want it playing in so a big cinema could be paying in excess of 1mil to play a movie in all its screens

Now the question is , how would this cinema know about the movie being developed ?

Not to be harsh but why would anyone watch your movie? Your movie probably doesn't have anybody famous, nobody is going to watch it. Try to get it into a movie festival around where you live.

Not everyone watches movies just because of the cast. You might understand that when your older.
:p

movies get cinemas attention due to advertisement, trailers the works
Movies with unknown cast members are in cinemas due to those unknown cast members actually been known for their skills as an actor if not as an actor as a wrestler/model/rich family
so famous people are famous before they are famous if that makes sense
if not that they where noticed at a film festival or more common these days on the internet (youtube)

I'm pretty sure they have departments in the corporation that lets them know what the next big movie is.
It's usually the theater that fishes out the movies

I have no idea how they get into theaters, but you can maybe try researching "Paranormal Activity" and "Napolean Dynamite." They were both semi home made movies that got into theaters.

First of all, you need a really good script - especially if you have a cast of unknown actors. Most "indie" films that end up showing on the mainstream movie theaters usually start off by getting a lot of positive reviews and attention from events like the Sundance Film Festival. For you to land a film straight to a mainstream movie theater, you need to have a huge budget and you need to catch the attention of some famous (or at least known actors) - otherwise, refer to the first method.
