Have you ever had a girlfriend/boyfriend?

I'm 16 years old and I haven't dated/no girlfriend, I guess it's pretty depressing for me. But it's actually hard for me to bring myself to talk to girls, I have no idea why...

So like, I wonder if there are other people like me with the same thing...

never bothered looking. simply can't imagine myself in a serious relationship before college...
(+ the general dutch female is either butt-ugly, spoiled, a fat cow, or just plain dumb. There are only 5 girls in my whole school that I actually really consider to be pretty...

I'm a picky guy. Only 2 girls I like out of everyone I've seen. That and whenever I talk with a girl, we can't seem to keep the conversation going.

^ interesting (referring to poehalco) imo dutch girls can be pretty cute (but yes, there are many many ugly girls among them). But yea that's my opinion. I've just gotten into a relationship this week =) But i understand your problem aznronin, my cousin has the same problem as you. Idk, maybe you should go more out? You meet new people (including girls).

I've had a few, im 15. Got turned down several times, and have been asked by some girls but they werent cute/not my type. dont currently have one now, she moved :[

But im fine not always having a GF, just having friends that are girls is good.

Don't think it matters if I didn't have a GF in 8th or 9th grade.

we're just friends tho. Yea soccer team gets alot of girls for some reason *soccer player <--* But yea i had a few requests 9th grade, cant wait till im junior and have my own car (or truck if my parents get me a truck :[)

@Squirt: Yea focusing on school is good. I'm good in the department though (almost all A's). It's just I feel like I'm missing something.

Yeah I've had a couple of them, but lately I've been in a bad luck streak... Last couple girls I dated still had stuff going on with their ex's, actually, today this girl I was dating told me her ex apologized to her after doing <insert boring thing I wasn't paying attention to cause I was too sad to> and that she still liked him.

Now that I taught I'd finally get to be with a decent girl again..

But wow, I'm 14, I'm here feeling depressed and shit, but now that I look around, I'm pretty lucky...

Oh I also have that friend zone problem, in the 7th grade I just basically ruined all of my chances of getting any girl of my class by being 'their friend', spent 8th grade working my way out of my mistakes, now I'm finally getting the kind of attention I want..

I'm gonna be honest and say no. I am bit below average (not butt-ugly) looking, and I am too picky. I only like so many girls, but they are really pretty and I know I probably couldn't get them because I am not "great looking". Also my parents wont let me. Damn my genes!!

If you can't find a date at all throughout high school don't put yourself down, that doesn't mean your a social reject. Consider that you just saved the money and time you would have spent on a girlfriend in high school, and instead spend those resources on a girlfriend in college, which is more important anyways since your finding a life partner that you're going to raise a family with.

This. Its hard, especially in a white-dominated high school. Plus most of the asian girls that I see at school are either unattractive, super whitewashed, or just no chance for real social contact.

no gf, but i have girls that are just friends. like everyone is saying, all you have to do is get involved in something like a club at school that has some girls in it. i live 45 minutes away from my school so i could not join any sports or clubs until this year when i got G2 and i met a lot of people joining some clubs at school. it will definitely be easier in college when you have courses and stuff that you can meet a lot more girls at.

Yea currently in a relationship with my special someone :3 We have known each other since basically the begining of the year, we got to know each other for a while, I asked her out around christmas time, she pulled the ''I care for you too much'' card out, kinda annoyed me, but anyways the past is the past, I waited for her until she was ready, and it pays off. Getting my license on March 15th cant wait ^^ and I have enough money financially although she is pretty simple nothing fancy

we are both happy at the moment and everything is going well

Guys actually need their parents' permission to date? What the fuck? I just find it odd. I thought, if anything, it would be encouraged =/

Anyway...

I've had a few but only one serious and long relationship (current one). The others were pretty short and I felt free to screw around since I really didn't think much of them.

And I don't mean to flame or anything but the whole "I was never interested / never bothered to look for one" excuse is getting old. Then again, what really annoys me are single guys acting like every women out there are simply not up to their standards. It's a probably the most pathetic excuse out there. (These go for people around the dating age, not someone in 6th grade - it's common sense but I just felt like I needed to point that out)

Oh I had "over 9000" girlfriends in Junior High, one week relationship to 2 months. So yeah,nothing serious . The kind of dating you do to get your epeen/reputation +++ at your school .

Now that I'm in High School I'm looking for more of a serious relationship. But as many people have told me, Gr.10 = No GF,Screw around & Party.

I haven't had a girlfriend since I was 15 and it wasn't even a deep/lasting relationship. I'm 18 now.

My Dad is so cool, first day on campus after meeting the tour guide and bumping into various attractive females on campus my Dad comments, "Look at all these beautiful women, ah-ah *really deep Nigerian accent* My son better get in on this." So I have the green light, I've had the green light since I was 10. I don't have the drive to pursue a female for longer than a week.

I don't get how you Asian guys are having problems. White girls love foreigners and Asian females are awesome. Talk about math and shit, gets em wet.

i currently have a girlfriend. Had one in gr 8-9. dumped her in grade 9 and have been with current since gr 12. im not one to play around and all the girls in my school were just hopping around certain circles of friends no real relationship. so i never bothered.

Haven't been bothered to look for one right now. Had a few in the past. At the moment college and my limited money hold priority over finding a steady gf. There's too much 'loose' running around to settle down with a single girl right now, that would be retarded.

i currently have one and i would like to say its not what its cracked up to be. there are even times i want to be single again.... because idk i guess people in relationships think you should ALWAYS talk ALWAYS be together and all that stuff but in the end you can't live with someone if you don't have something to talk about right?
