Well I have my oral exam in French and I suck really really bad in French. I can barely hold the passing grade. Considering I don't wanna fail, I need something good in French. Google translator is no use, and the guys on the French wow forum don't wanna translate something written in English. Fair enough, but I'm too retarded to translate myself.
So I'm wondering if someone wants to show off his pro skills in French, or kill some of his time or w/e, and translate this text for me:
Spoiler!
Hello, my name is Wouter and I am 18 years old. I would like to tell you something about my future plans and myself. After I pass this year I would like to travel to Norway to go to a 'Folkehogskule'. This is a special Norwegian school where you don't follow regular classes, but you learn for life. It's a very special year for me, as I get to relax from classes and just do fun stuff. I am planning on following the Outdoor-Life program which, surprisingly, focuses on outdoor life in the Norwegian mountains. I will learn how to survive alone, how to make fire and create shelters to spend the night. Perhaps you are wondering: "Why Norway? Isn't it cold there?" and I will explain: The 'Folkehogskule' is unique to scandinavia so I can't go to a warm country. Besides, I love the cold and I love to ski.
I learned of Norway when I was looking for ideas for a 'gap year'. I asked around in my network and someone told me about the 'Folkehogskulen'. I was immediately interested and I made plans to visit these schools myself. In December I got two days off from school to visit Norway and the beautiful schools. As soon as the plane landed I was sold on the idea of going to Norway for a year, and the schools only made this decision more clear. I visited three schools, and I picked the one I liked the very best. I applied, and a couple of weeks ago I got a letter: I was accepted! I am very glad that I got accepted into the school. There are only ~100 places, and a lot of people apply. I am one of the few lucky ones that got in.
However, there is a life after Norway. When the year in Norway is over I have to go back to studying and going to school. Even though I don't enjoy school right now, I am looking forward to my study after Norway. I am applying for 'International Relations and International Organization'. I think it will be a very interesting study because I really like the idea of working abroad and in an international setting.
I hope I pass this year so I can go to Norway to have some fun!
I would be eternally grateful!

Yeah Dom is probably the best mod on here, but also as a person I think he's pretty much perfect. Did I ever mention I Farking love Canada as well? I mean I just chose Norway as a substitute for Canada. True story: I visited the CN tower!

If you're not good in french, make a simpler oral. I wasn't good at spanish so I just winged my oral by throwing a few words we learned recently in class with simple ones i was comfortable with.

No,sometime they use different word, and sound strange for a french, also they have their own word such as Calice de terbanac;esti; or something like that... "Year gap" what it is?

Well simple doesn't get me points. I can learn very well, so if I get the 'pro' text I will be able to learn it completely and say it good on the oral. Besides, I'm already not good in French. I can't come with a sub-par text if everyone is doing hard stuff, which everyone is doing. Unfortunately failing in something hard is better than succeeding in something easy.
@ sword cloud, gap year can be translated into just 'Gap year' as well. There is no Dutch word for it either. Other wise 'a year off' works as well.

French is always a bit more expecting of their students, but what year are you? which year of french and which level of schooling, high school, college?
Even in college with spanish 3 i barely had to say much on my orals. Hardest oral i had was in high school and I still did fine winging it and talking about ugly hookers selling toys for food...

I'm in my last year of high school in the 'highest' level of Dutch high school. I have had French for six years, so imagine how bad I must be if I still can't speak it for shit. I cheat a lot during French exams. Always bring complete breakdowns of verbs and all that good stuff. I may not be good in French, but I am really pro in cheating exams. (Don't go moral on me now, really can't use it atm)
@ swordcloud I mean the courses ('sujets' in french I believe. 'Les sujets pas normal' (?))
