Homo internet?
I don't understand why my internet just fucks up, and does't allow me to goto websites like google and facebook and lets me go on certain websites like these forums, its ridiculous. When I go on other websites it gives me "Bell Canada Home Networking" (btw bell sucks).
Anyone know the cause of this problem?

Re: Homo internet?
Might be parental controls.
Re: Homo internet?
could be your dns provider
http://www.opendns.com/
dns is what searches for the ip of websites. so example you type in silkroadforums.com into the address bar it sends that into your dns provider. then your dns provider looks up the name and returns to you an ip address.
dns servers given to you buy your isp suck so its normally a good idea to get a 3rd party.

Re: Homo internet?
thats why bell has the ''fastest'' network in the country then! ha! they block 3/4 of the websites so that they dont get overloaded and all they need is to load a 4KB page with writing on it hahahaha i knew it all the way there was a catch...

Of course, the main internet provider in North Kore is OBVIOUSLY "Bell Canada Home Networking".

http://www.opendns.com is free
Google has one too, but it sounds like you wont be able to get to that.
http://code.google.com/speed/public-dns/
Edit: But I wouldn't recommend Google.
