Windows XP Enhancement Program

Got bored, did some reg edit research and wrote a UI and reg edit script

What this program simply does is edit some values in your registry, such as appkill times and such, no more than that. I don't have a link scanner, you can do that. This is a nice lil app you can put on a flash drive and run it pc running Windows XP

P.S. Choosing the (-) option, restores values to default

care to explain the values more and explain why having X value at - would benefit over +

Well e.g. so say your Appkill times default 5000, it changes to 1000. Not the exact values but on that sort, and also the computer needs to be reset to take affect. Yes this isn't professional BUT it works and its small and portable, we are also developing a alternate GUI version and it just works by clicking a button.

Well I'm going to go into VB6 and design a quick button based GUI and maybe some more, it will have individual .exe files, and the buttons will simply execute them, instead of going into one and executing them from there. Of course I just might pack them all and have VB6 run it through there so you'll less files to work with. If anyone has a request or suggestions please say so

SilkroadForums edition.

You have visual studio? Could turn that into a GUI pretty easily. There are lots of programs out there like this however. Still a fun/useful project though. Good stuff. :)

they are probably false positives only appearing because of how it accesses the system files and alters them.
