It's not like he's diving by zero. It's called luck and practice, He's probably tried the shot multiple times, for example I usually miss half court shots for the first 5-10 shots, after a while, I get the "feel" of it, and make it, similar to why I bounce new basketballs, so i can get the "feel" of it.
Tl;dr - lol, its far from impossible.
