good for Nadal on retiring, he tweaks his knee and its still January.
No point in throwing the year away trying to defend his Australian Open title- it didn't look like he was going to win anyway
as ive said, i think Nadals reign is over. He will keep a decent ranking because he plays nobodys until the quarters. He will be just another Gonzalez from Chile, completely irrelevant in later rounds.
he is 1-11 now against top opponents the past 13 months, pathetic. His prime is over, ended 2 years ago. He needs to retire like Marat Safin, go back to Mallorca and lay around poolside before he keeps embarassing himself.
