Well, i had experienced strange situation week ago, this never happened to me before, well i was sleeping then i had feeling like my eyes were open and i was lying near my table on the ground with my head against the wall, well first place i though this is dream, but then i was lying and lying on the ground, ( i don't know why) i could not move so then i started thinking this doesn't seems like a dream, but suddenly i started feel pain in my neck and head, then i was like wtf? and i woke up, and i still was lying on the ground so this was not dream... i was so tired that i didn't even panic, so i went fast to my bed and slept further by hoping this was just a dream... i searched on intrenet, but i could not find the exact cause of this weird experince... anybody had same sh*t?

I don't know the details, but your brain releases some sort of chemical or hormone to basically paralyze you're body when you are in deep sleep and dreaming. Keeps you from hurting yourself..
You probably moved onto the floor before the paralysis kicked in and then woke up all of a sudden before the paralysis wore off.
That's my theory.

Yep, true that, but i think there goes something wrong when i get that chemical seems like I'm not deep in dream... wrong timing? lol

If I understood you right you waked up on the floor at the table? Feels like a failed sleep walking and that paranormal thing at the same time.

You ever find yourself half asleep in bed imagining you're on a slippery surface? Then you think you're gonna slip and fall so you spaz out and kick the wall or something?
Shit sucks, man.

I've had weird dreams before. Example i was swimming in the sea, deep under, and I was running out of breath sooo bad, and I knew I wasn't going to make it back up, and I took a HUGE breath while still under water, which completly fu.cked me over, then i woke up un a startle.
Also sometimes when i dream about stuff, example which are about to hit me, i twitch with natural reaction, and then i get woken up because everyone in the class is looking at me laughing, thinking im a complete freak because I twitch when i sleep. Not like no one else does...

Yes, that always happens to me when I'm in the car. I imagine that my fingers are really, really big and I try to pick up these really small needles. I can never do it so I kick out of frustration.

I'd say you're probably right. I've had a similar thing happen to me a few years ago. I'd be laying in bed trying to fall asleep. Next thing I know I'm laying there, eyes closed, can't move, totally aware of what is going on in the room around me. I try to call out to my wife to help me, but in reality I'm just laying there breathing a little heavy (I asked my wife about it later). Then I force myself awake.
I had sleep studies done on me at that time including sleep deprivation studies where I had to stay up all night with no food or drink after midnight to help. I just played video games all night

The doctors thought at first it was sleep apnea but also mentioned sleep paralysis. I did notice that it mostly happened if I fell asleep on my back. It hasn't happened in a few years though. It was back when I wasn't getting much sleep when I was up throughout the nights helping feed my newborn daughter.

Usually it's not a slippery surface, I'm just climbing up or down some stairs then I fail and jump out of my bed like crazy.
But I believe that happens to everyone..?

so you have a head injury and you think sleeping more is a good idea. hope you never get a concussion.

I once had a dream that i fell out of my bed, it felt real but i woke up on the bed.
I have also had something, i sleep, but i'm not actually asleep, i know that i'm laying in my bed but i can't move, so i try and wake up. It has happened to me many times.

i have experienced this multiple times. the first couples times it was scary, but after i looked into it and found out what it is, now i look forward to it happening. fun shit.
it was especially scary the first time cause i was asleep on my back and when this happens and youre on your back it feels like a 5 year old is sitting on your chest.
