So I saw this preview a while back and thought it was just another stupid vampire movie. But then I saw it again and saw that it actually had a pretty good storyline. What do you guys think? Code: Select all

I've seen a few adverts trailers and internet virals for this film and Yeah it looks pretty good though It does not seem to be like the typical cliche vampire movie the film companies seem to be powering out these days unless it's a trap...anyway I most likely will see this movie when it comes out. So until then I wait with baited breath

I'd buy anything with vampires in it; even started watching that vampire diary shit and found out it's pretty good with thrilling sub-plots, quirky background stories, and a novel take on boy-meets-girl stories set in a high school. Plus lead girl, Elena, is fairly attractive. But back to the point, I'll definitely check out Daybreakers.

First time I saw a preview for this I had no idea it was about vampires.
I thought it was going to be a good movie. One that had a refreshing story, like humanity had discovered the key to immortality, but part of the cost was keeping some other "normal" people alive so they can harvest their blood for it.
But nope, just another dumb shit vampire thriller movie.

What's the difference between finding a key to immortality that has an inherent flaw and becoming a vampire? It's almost the same thing lol...

It is the same thing, but people can't look past 'vampire' any more because of twilight stigma. I personally think vampires are awesome. Interview with the vampire, True Blood, Blade, Underworld etc. are all good movies with vampires. I'd sooner say vampires make a movie awesome than claim it makes it bad. Superhuman bloodsucking villains, what's not to like?

some people don't like vampires in the first place, not necessarily because of twilight. Personally, I can't get past the gothic aspect and the gore involved in the idea of "bloodsucking".

It is similar but it could have been this futuristic escape thriller with a neat story behind it. Instead we got vampires running the world and somehow not having the foresight to notice they're running low on deleeeshus blahd.

You should watch True Blood if you haven't already. It's the bee's knees.
