They deserve it. They moved in front of the Japanese ship, you can tell by the wake behind their fancy ass boat.

The Sea Shepherd's methods are a great way to ruin support for the anti-whaling movement.

Not only do they fail at preventing any whaling, but they manage to make the Japanese look like the victims.

It looks like the Japanese ship ran into them from this vid.

Yeah they got in the way.

What do they expect though? In that Whale Wars thing that was on TV a while back it showed the Sea Shepherd captain deliberately ram one of the Japanese vessels.

seems like the jap shipped altered course to collide to me. Either way that vid doesn't get emotion out of me. It does anger me that they are hunting a species to extinction knowing full and well what they're doing just for quick profit. If they stopped killing and let numbers rebuild they could set a quota and make whaling sustainable. But instead they're just going to keep killing till there is nothing left and then complain when the industry nosedives and they're out of work. I am also angry that the whaling conference that took place failed to place laws into effect to stop the japs from continuing these practices. An entire species lost to bureaucracy and a crisis ignored...

I heard something that you couldn't see that ship on the radar/sonar what ever and that's why they collided o.o I saw it on the news and I think they got what they deserved. Protesting against whaling sure but the way they do it is not acceptable.

Though i agree the anti whaling groups can produce great feats of faggotry at times, in this instance looks like they were in the mega right.
Bottom line is, as I see it, that Japanese are culling the whales till extinction and no ones going any further than asking Japan to stop, which they don't. Kudos to the activists.
No matter how much you think you love somebody, you'll step back when the pool of their blood edges up too close.

I dunno man, when you're on the bridge of a big ass ship, that little shitstain boat isn't going to be particularly visible.

Especially when it's painted black and getting in your way all the time.
