Do you guys need glasses? If so, do you prefer glasses or contacts?

Well, I've never had glasses/contacts... hopefully never will. xD

I need pretty strong glasses, sort of like yours I guess. Can't stand contacts.

I wish my eyes were near 20/20. People with perfect/near perfect eyesight should be thankful.

The dose on my glasses are about -2.3 or -2.5 which is not terribly bad. I can read without my glasses and walk around the house without them either but put me in a car on the road without them and things get a bit more difficult hehe.

I have contacts. I get 3 month contacts for EU 10,- per pair at a convenience store.
Contacts from an optician are almost a bigger steal than glasses. I had to pay 20 per pair per month at the optician. I'm saving quite some money this way and the contacts are just as good.

I hate glasses. I also hate putting my contacts in so I only put them in when I go out. Indoors I wear glasses when I watch TV, but other than that I just walk around with bad sight.

I wear glasses, but i'm planing to buy contacts for sports.

Use to wear glasses then took the jump to contacts. I like them a lot more..

Physically can't wear contacts, my eye shuts close the minute anything comes near it, can't even put eye drops in lol. That and I enjoy glasses.

no, but my optometrist says i need them. But i won't wear them and she knows it so. she dosen't bother giving me a prescription.

About 50cm for me.

I have -2 for glasses and -1.25/-1.5 for contacts

I am supposed to wear glasses, but I only wear them rarely, when I read/write or when I'm doing something on computer that requires details. It's really annoying reading without glasses and apparently I don't see the same through each of my eyes O__x. At the same time, the glasses are farkin annoying, they tickle my nose and they keep moving around, making me look stupid with my glasses positioned weird on my face.
