28 year old James Owen Sullivan, who went by the stage name "The Rev", in the band Avenged Sevenfold was found dead at his home in Huntington Beach, California. Lt. John Domingo says the musician died of what appears to be natural causes. The Orange County coroner's office is currently investigating Sullivan's death.
The band released a statement Monday expressing their sadness and calling Sullivan "one of the world's best drummers," and "our best friend and brother."

Sad Wished to hear their new album soon, but I guess it wont happen. Such a shame. He was a kick ass drummer. RIP.

Yup.
Also, it seems as if the year ends tonight so I'm going to take a wild guess and say that's the last celeb death of the year. Not like I care much about celebs though.

when i first heard this i really didnt believe it but after i read an artcile about it i couldnt believe it. the rev was one of the best drummers i had ever heard of he was the reason i took up the drums. A7X was and still will be my fav band of all time RIP rev
