I saw it on the plane, the movie was really good, I highly recommend people watch it!

District 9 (it was one of the few movies I watched this year.)

I was about to say the DarkKnight or Ironman. Only to come to the realization that I haven't went to the theaters in a long time and these were '08 movies.

taken and district 9 were really good movies. I'm going to seen avatar soon and I'm sure that will be at the top too

Gran Torino was this year right? If so, it's such an amazing movie that it has my approval.

I have to go with Taken, too. Liam Neeson has that distinctive badass voice!

this year, there were many great movies. I just watched Avatar, and it was like the others from 09, just amazing. Dark Knight, District 9,Inglorious Basterds...

lol Dark knight is 08 belive me i still have my ticket( and i saw in the theaters about 5 times) that movie is Most badass movie of all times!

2012 or Knowing were both phenomenally done.

Badass? I can't believe nobody mentioned Zombieland.

So many great movies, at the top of the list I have (in no specific order) Inglorious Basterds, The Hangover, Zombieland and damn I watched so many movies I can't even remember 'em all.

Havent seen Avatar yet so I'll have to go with Hangover

I've yet to see Zombieland.

Do you guys recommend it/ is it worth the time? If you do I'll add it to my movie list :3

The movie was pretty cool. It wasn't like every other cliche zombie movie, I liked it, 8 / 10 IMO.

Ontopic, Taken is awesome. Watched it twice. Liam is one of my fav actors.

Personally I think tarantino is overrated. Good film like his other work, but overrated. Half of the people cheering for him don't even understand half of the story/directing.

My all time fav movie is gonna have to be Man on Fire still, and District 9.

District 9 is so original, and the way it was filmed in interview-style was Farking awesome.

Hattteeee, when people see a movie and automatically say its the best just because they saw it and liked it.

Every movie will have that effect on a person because they saw it with friends and they had fun while watching it.
