Oh hey there,
So for my biology class I've gotta do something for our science fair. But the teacher said it had to be a question, so something like, Which water is purer tapwater or bottled water? or, Which brand of OJ has the most Vitamin C?
But yeah, I haven't come up with anything great, or easy, yet. And heck it can be hard has long as it'll be amazing....ish.
So yeah, do y'all have any brilliant ideas?
Thanks,
-Tas

You can always do a bottle rocket experiment, always fun. The question could be "Would a bottle rocket with more water or less water fly in the air higher?" lol, i did it one time, was pretty fun.

You can try the most common question:
Wait, what?

I can do it without even taking my hands out of my pockets.

Build a hovercraft(that can support 300lb+). That is what I did when they made me do that back in high school. Ended up winning like $2,000 total from it.
I let ppl ride it at school was pretty sweet.
Edit: hada post some pics

(testing it with weights)

(me riding it)

Ohh dang nice hovercraft. Build me one kk? = p
I like the rocket idea. Only question is how/where can I get a rocket that I can use for such an experiment?
Remember y'all it has to be a question, not something like....oh I don't know...building a railgun....although that'd be awesome! Ha

the question was How does weight affect a hovercraft?

Why? Could the hovercraft not hold them up???

lol nah, they thought just putting weight on a hovercraft was a lousy experiment. Testing the time it takes for it to hover with different weights was better.

Wow you guys actually did stuff in science at school?
The most we did is seeing how hydrogen could make a squeaking noise, or something like that. Not my fav subject.

can we make a hovercraft basing on the force of Lorentz when the ground is made of metal?

Mine was rather simple, it just required some pvc pipes, an air insert thingy ( the kind u see on bikes ) and a air pumper thing ( again, the one you use on bikes >> ). Some people sell this thing that you attach to your " launch pad " and the bottle, but i didnt use it. Mine was basic and easy to put together, worked and got the job done; but i also did it last minute so it could of been better lol. It all depends if your going to put effort into it to make it descent. I typed this from my ipod, so ill check back later.
Edit: for the rocket, you can use your general coke 2 liter bottles. If u decide to do it or want more info, i can post back later, reason being ^ and im atthe mall

Grow colonies of bacteria in your house and see if any of them can help create bio-fuel :p
