If you can remove one thing from the world

What would you remove? And why?
(you got to say things in general, like you can say "i want to remove 'human' but you can't say i want to remove 'Tom Cruise')

But also consider the following definition of existence: smt exists if only its opposite exists. For example, if you remove "fear", you also have to remove "courage" as well.

In case you don't know what to remove, say what do you want to add to the world (you might consider to add its opposite as well)

As for the 2nd question "why", you also need to explain why you don't want its opposite to exist

I repeat: You need to explain WHY? With it AND without it!
I repeat: You need to explain WHY? With it AND without it!
I repeat: You need to explain WHY? With it AND without it!
Repeated 3 times, if you still don't remember, don't even think about replying

I dont like when ppl hate each other so i would remove it but i'd have to remove love too and I dont want that. So I would remove...hmm...Dont really know but maybe the money. It doesn't make any sense.

So this chair exists because the opposite of a chair exists? O_o. Your logic makes no sense.

Agreed.

Corruption. And it doesn't need an explanation.
And +1 to Ofy.

well, because you went into details. I mentioned you got to talk in general.
chair = material/objects/elements
table = material/objects/elements
There's probably an opposite of chair but we just don't know it yet, or we don't have a word for it. But I believe this definition is somehow right.

Same as above, mosquitos = animal

A world without rights and duties will be getting worsts. You give birth to a baby, you abandoned it, doesn't seems fine.
Children have the rights to go to school. Remove it, doesn't seems fine at all.

I love how ppl try to remove good things from the world. Try another thing.

It could work. Without incorruption, the world doesn't have a big change. You gain what you work for.
But because of corruption, it helps sometime when you need someone to help you smt...

Euh, why?

oh wait, before we turn this thread into anothing religion/science discussion, i'll say it shorts.

Religion teaches ppl how to be a good person, why to be a good person, what's the benefit to be a good person (at least mentally), etc...

You might as well search in Google for the benefits of "religion"

UnbeatableDevil wrote:So according to silo, if you remove religion, you are removing athesism too?
lol wut

atheism = no religion
try to give me a definition of atheism without using the words "god", "religion"...?

But still, without Twilight, the main male actor can't get famous :wink:
So it's not good for him and it gives no major change to the world :x

Im sure you still hate smt in your life :wink:

I'd remove everything. And of course its opposite, nothing.
Why? Because it'd be fun to watch the world experience the BSOD.

Kind of a toss up between diseases 'n hate

Nothing really good comes out of diseases....hell, it's in the name itself: dis-ease ... living with one myself, you're kinda stock piled with this, for a lack of a better word, pain for the rest of your life....maybe I'm soft, but eh, never really liked to see anyone in pain. (why not just say pain? ...eh, body needs it ...lol).

Hate...eh. Hate bridges bringing people together. It can bring about violence, narrow mindedness, 'n some other unneeded, somewhat negative things I'm too tired to get into...

Mirosuke wrote:what means smt? :?

Means "something", I'm guessing.

Nuclear and his logics . . .

Removing something and his opposite?If you remove Violence You can't remove the peace,
IF you remove the peace you can't remove the violence,if you remove life and dead,then we lives or we are all deads?I will never undertand your logic because you don't think the same way as many of member including me think.

simply add the word "not/no" to the word you remove, you'll understand
live - not live (dead)
dead - not dead (live)
peace - no peace (war, violence, etc...)

you remove life and death, you are neither living or dying

This have no sense for me,you can't remove the both things,could you tell me how this can have a sense?
