When I went to my back yard 2 days ago I saw 3 white baby cats. I thought that it was nothing they where just passing by and maybe they'd leave in a while. Today I checked again and the cats are still there. I think they don't have a mother cat to take care of them =/.

I was wondering what do cats eat? I put a small bowl of milk out but I don't have any actual cat food in my house.

Edit: By food I mean common household food items that cat can eat as well.

i'd say just get some cat food at the store. our cats
dont notice difference between brands really, they
actually like the cheapest food better than expensive
food lol. other than that, you can occasionally give
em a piece of cheese (cats love cheese), or any kind
of meat really. but don't spoil them too much. also
depends on if you want them to keep coming back. idk
if you plan on keeping them?

I put out some bologna and turkey meat for them. They started nibbling on em, so cute

How old exactly?
if they're at an age where they've walked around quite a bit most foods should be ok.

Try giving them a piece of ham and see them go crazy over it :3

Well, She may be out looking for food and may return to her kitten's.

This may sound silly, but don't feed them cat food if they're kittens. As this will give them the shits. Also don't give them to much milk, better off giving them water, again cows milk will give them the shits. You can get them special kittens milk from a pet store. And please take them to the vets.

I actually witnessed my friend go through this, he offered the kittens milk and meat and it really made their stomachs upset.

Cat food I'd too rich for their tummies. Probably like giving a small baby some steak

I have a very similar story.

There were about 5-7 about 1foot long kittens in my backyard ( I assumed it was my neighbor's cats since i see them around all the time )and I saw the mom cat like once or twice. They used to hide in the old fences around my house; some were like that orange tabby color and like 2 black ones. I saw them like 7 times total, and I gave them some milk one time and they didnt drink it ( only thing i could come up with ) but i gave them some bread and they ate it lol. I auctually discovered them when I was in the bathroom, and i could hear them thru the wall. Over time they progressed, ( during that short period ) and they left, cause i didnt see them anymore But during a few weeks/months ( I dont remember ) I saw them like a pack all grown up and such traveling around my neighbor's house lol.

I think they still live around here, and I think I saw the same ones the other day at my neighbor's house ( the one i assumed mothered the kittens ) cause there were like 3 cats that i know my neighbor didnt have before :o

Anyway, I'm not a real expert, but that was my story lol

we recently adopted a kitten, even though its as big as a regular sized cat. It sounds like a kitten, its a boy, it slides on the wood floor when trying to run.
its super cute, it was an outdoor cat but since winter time my mom didnt want it to freeze so we adopted it.

entice them in give them a pillow to sleep on, in the mean while if you dont want to keep them contact the nearest animal hospital or put some free ads up for free kittens so they find a good home.

but tbh cats are piss easy to look after just be sure to make them not ruin your good furniture other then that they are fine (by that i mean give them a scratching post or carpet sheet on your wall something like that)
