Anybody seen it?

I just finished watching it. One of the, if not, the best film i have seen for the past few years. Awesome storyline and something quite original too.

Would recommend it to anybody who likes sci-fi films.

yes it was a very fresh addition to the science fiction genre. If they are making a sequel I can't wait to see it.

very good in my opinion.

although i can see why people might not like it, it really does step outside of the generic sci-fi cliches.

Not exactly original, sort of reminded me of 'The Fly' when he started losing his finger nails...

Damn good for a movie of it's budget, just like Paranormal Activity.

This movie is very good indeed.
I like it becuase it takes place in Suid-Afrika.
Not the standard type like New York or another big city.

I'm downloading Paranormal Activity right now :D

I paid 2 times to see the movie haha and both times it was fun.. probably the best movie I've seen in the summer too bad the ending was pretty vague they could have done much more with the amazing script and the exceptionally good acting

liked it very much, not the traditional "aliens come and kill humans" storyline xD

They probably will come and kill humans in a sequel, after what the humans did to them.

Nah we'll somehow go kill them. I'd actually like to see humans invade an alien planet.

I liked it, but it had some gross parts, and it had bad quality so idk if that made it worse.

Do you think there will be another part to the movie? The way it ended leads me to believe that there might be a continuation of the story.

Yea I agree.

I just hope the 2nd part won't be like any other sequel to good/semi good movies.
Aka shit.

''On August 1, 2009, two weeks before District 9 was released to theaters, Neill Blomkamp hinted that he intended to make a sequel if the film was successful enough.''

Me and search don't get on well, ever since i broke his nose for telling me what to look at.

OT: Im hoping they make a sequel. They lined it up perfectly for one, showing him as an alien and showing the population of "District 10".

Yeah I've had many discussions with my friends about this.
Do you think the sequel will be called "District 10"?
I keep telling my friends it's a probability and they just keep saying "No, it's gonna be called District 9 part 2."
BTW my friends are idiots if you didn't already notice.

Just release, making of Red-light District #10 is to be released in 2012. Tells the story of the guy's alien life working the streets as a male-alien-human-hybrid prostitute to get enough money to buy cat food.
