How this guy survives this is beyond me.

Warning, the following content is very graphic in nature; definitely not for weak stomachs. If you don't want to see the video but want a brief synopsis of what happened; a drunk guy tried diving into the water (lake or ocean), and hit a concrete dock instead face first and started hemorrhaging blood all over. Later in the hospital, he is shown to literally split his face vertically in two pieces. He died 3 days later.

and i don't see any life support on the kid, and also why the hell would the doctors he just standing around pretty much.

Err.. pretty sure that's not fake. They allow cameras in emergency rooms. Looks like he just arrived, they're probably trying to figure out wtf to do. He already has a tube in his throat..

I don't understand how you can stay alive, even for a small ammount of time, after a drop like that when your face splits in half. He SHOULD have been killed instantly.

The same way people who get cut in half can live for several minutes.. it just happens sometimes. I know, kind of bad example, but the body can be pretty amazing at times. If anyone has seen the Korean dude cut in half by a truck you know what I'm talking about... he lives through being cut completely in half.. it's a surreal video.

People also survive attempted suicides where they blow the front of their face off... just another example.

Why bother jumping down there anyway? :-/

Yes, its real and in some places they do.
And the kid died after 2 days.
