yea they beat argentina and brasil a year ago.
these recent months of qualifying they've slipped, which is why they only finished 3rd after being 1st for a huge part of the CONMEBOL qualifiers. Hell, even Bolivia beat both argentina and brasil. In fact bolivia trashed argentina 6-1 hahaha.

right now conmebol is 1.brasil 2.chile 3.argentina 4.paraguay IMO in terms of power rankings
i dont know of roque santa cruz is playing today, i think hes injured.

Anyways, FIFA is full of shit and they want big teams like france in the world cup so they'll probably let it slide. But its a shame that fairness is overlooked in order to make sure top teams qualify for the world cup.
