the only improvement in this that I really like are the roofs...
the rest is just faulty design imo >__>
look at GE and compare it to other mmo's. GE has been awesomely programmed graphically, even my horribly shitty PC can take it without any lag.

seriously, PC graphics are always designed horribly. a Xbox360/ps3's graphic card isn't anything special, so why should we need the newest shit to play the same stuff on PC??

When dx10 came out it was almost like a marketing scam to get you to buy a dx10 card. The pictures were so much better looking than d9 when in reality it wasn't that much of an improvement..Seems the same with these pictures (especially the dragon one).

if they were to put some more effort into it I could probably play prototype or assassins creed on my computer without all too much trouble...

DX10 without tessellation = decals/models with really good shading (ex. the rock paths kinda look like they're 3d from far because of the good shading)
DX11 with tessellation = everything is actually really 3D

tl;dr

This is the real shit.

lol. I'd hate to walk on those cobblestones. They're way to bumpy.

As for the technology, I'm really impressed. Creating polygons on the fly is just insane.
