This is something I've been wondering about for many years...
In the first Harry Potter GAME near the end there was a part where you had to select the right potion in order to pass through the black flames and reach Voldemort.
Now the first time I watched that harry potter MOVIE, in the cinema! I remember seeing that scene.
However all the versions of the movies I see now...they don't have that scene.

Is my memory failing me or was that scene really there in the movie?
does anyone know? is it some kind of removed scene?

If you saw the movie and played the game I guess you read the book. If so, maybe it was a part in there and your confused between the book and the movie?

nope didn't read the book
we had them in Bulgarian which I'm really bad at reading, so my parents read them to me sometimes. quite frankly they never managed to catch my attention all that much, so I don't remember anything from them...at all. I read part 5 in English a year or so ago and finally concluded that the books are a bore...
the first 3 movies were quite enjoyable though, and so was the first game (that's the only one I played).

nope, i specifically remember that the snape's potion task isn't in the movie.

ya same thing happened to me...i watched the 2nd one when it came out in the movie theatres and there's a scene at the end when harry is fighting that snake and its blinded, he throws a rock to divert its attention, but when i got it on dvd that part was missing =\

that part is in every version ive ever seen.

I somehow feel as though I remember the scene in more detail than the game offered... maybe it was a special uncut version or a premier?

i've never seen that part either... maybe its ur imagination ^_^

Can't remember it either, seen the first movie several times.

Its not in the movie. its in the book.

Isnt the big snake thing in Harry Potter: the Chamber of Secrets?
Thats the 2nd film..
