So, I'm kinda looking for a srf member who had in his signature such like proof that 2+2=5, can't find that guy. SO maybe you guys, can remmeber that guy, or his proof?
THX. :D

Don't remember who it was but here's the proof:

Start with: -20 = -20
Which is the same as: 16-36 = 25-45
Which can also be expressed as: (2+2) 2 (9 X (2+2) = 52) 9 X 5
Add 81/4 to both sides: (2+2) 2 (9 X (2+2) + 81/4 = 52) 9 X 5 + 81/4
Rearrange the terms: ({2+2}) 9/2) 2 = (5-9/2) 2
Ergo: 2+2 - 9/2 = 5
Hence: 2 + 2 = 5

Yeah, i know that proof. But in that guy's Sig there was like 25=25 etc..

Maybe this is math beyond my knowledge but what the hell is this step

"Which can also be expressed as: (2+2) 2 (9 X (2+2) = 52) 9 X 5"

No idea, but I always thought that the parenthesis in math had to be on the same side of the formula. So that threw me off on the whole thing.

lol wth
why are you using parenthesis and typing X?

1. I copy pasted the damn thing since I'm not the go-to guy in math; I forgot most of the stuff I learned from high school math class - except maybe basic algebra and medical dosage (from college), and a portion of geometry.

2. You could always substitute it with * if you want; it's really up to you but x is also used as a symbol of multiplication. I guess maybe because the guy thought it would look a lot easier to type down and read than ((9)(2+2))?

or just type 9(2+2)...

If you have 2 bananas in one bowl, and 2 bananas in another bowl, and then put all of the bananas onto a plate.. You will have 5 bananas.

I think a better one would be if you have a rope with 2 knots and another rope with 2 knots and you tie them together you get 5 knots.

if you have 2 couples girl&guy who are doing sex in a room, there are in total 5 ppl in that room (coz one baby is created) => logic in real life

-_-

Silo..

anyway..I've never seen parenthesis open on one side of the equation and close on the other. To my knowledge that proof doesn't make any sense..but maybe someone a little more mathematically advanced could help us..

There's something odd about that banana. I just can't seem to point my finger on it exactly.

by that logic, 2 couples having sex = 6 people, not 5...

you don't always have a baby created each time

With that said how are you so sure one of them will have a baby

it's just a supposition that it's possible that 2+2=5 in real life
ofc, in general 2+2=4

Then 2+2=6 as well can't it :O. Oh what if the 2 couples have twins then it will b 2+2=8

You guys don't really get the point... It's actually not working IRL. It's just consipracy about mathematical formulas, that they sucks and stuff. Like after doing thew formulas you can get from 25=25 to 2+2=5, or 2*2=5. But I can't find that guy who had quite easy formula. So i'm asking you guys :D Because i wanna go offtopic in mathematical class.
Ohh, yeah, and after that 2+2=5 proof, that guy wrote also 1.7+1.7=7.
