I literally felt the urge of punching myself in the face after watching the first video ... we'll I guess there is an upside and that would be that I now know some random bullshit I didn't before ...

Haven't watched the video, but no, 11:11 is by no means new, it's always been a superstitious thing, at least around here. I just think it's fun "Oh it's 11:11 make a wish!"
Also, in the book series Night Watch, they say that if you start noticing times like 11:11 a lot, it's a sign you may have powers, but that's fiction

11:11 is the only time 4 of the same number appears on the clock at once, or 00:00 if you're using a 24h clock. It was a childhood thing really..

Yes, it really was something one often did as a kid, but sometimes I still find myself making wishes at 11:11.

lol that 11:11 thing actually happened to me

there was that 11:11 make a wish thing going on with my school last year, and it turns out my lunch ended at about 11:05 takes 5 min to walk to class and by the time i sit down its usually 11:11 and i would look at the clock and make a wish

If you make a wish at 11:11 it always comes true.
