USB 3.0
In theory can reach the speed of 5 Gb/s transfer, 10 times faster than usb 2.0 (480 Mb/s). In reality test, it 3.2 Gb/s. Support read/write at the same time.

New WiFi
In 2012, a new protocol for Wifi will be used (802.11ac and 802.11ad) that let the transfer speed of ppl in LAN reaches 1Gb/s

3D TV
Image
Like in 3D cinema but now you can watch 3D film at home. Will be massively produced in 2013
Price: 5000 USD + 50 USD for each pair of glasses

Augmented Reality
Image
Let the user identify real objects, display information of that object

HTML5

No more browser incompatible, device incompatible.

Holorgraphic Versatile Disc - Can hold from 1 to 6 TB:
Image

There's also the Protein-coated Disc - stores up to 50 TB
Image

And, Hyper CD-ROM - can store from 10 TB to 1 PB (1 Petabyte = 1000 Terabytes)
Image

But I don't really feel like physical format is the way to go. We're relying more and more on the internet by just downloading software and media instead of using discs. Maybe we can just use these for archives or something.

3D tv is under a format war atm, the winner is almost outstanding and thats different to what u hav in IMAX theatur now i THINK... but however i think 3D tv wont be here 2013 unfortunatly...

ALSO
extra space CD's are going rediculously out of date.
all i need to say is Solid State. expect a price reduction and mass production of massive data sizes (its expensive to produce atm)

I agree with you that CD based storage is a thing of the past but so is solid state. Solid State drives have significant weaknesses: usually either low I/O performance, poor write throughput and unacceptable power consumption. There will be something better but who knows what.

1) You can get Nvidia 3D graphics card and glasses, for cheaper, and do 3D on your tv already.

2) I have "Augmented Reality" on my iPhone (free application)
Code: Select all

They have different types of apps too for different things:

3) I can appreciate.

All about compatibility i guess. No more website works on Firefox and not IE, and crap like that i'm guessing.

I'm ready for that. Too many browsers display stuff differently. Such a pain when I am creating a site.

well the 2 that are in war atm use glasses... polar and something else? but both glasses..
one is like...
the left and right lens is different shades so that you see a 3d image whilst the other lens stays the same...
recieved information from a reciever.

the other one is like the blue and red glasses. well it does the same job. it blocks certain light from your eyes
