Well I just wanted to know statistics here so like:

My job:
- Swimming Teaching instructor working 9 hrs on a Sunday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. No breaks just 9 hrs straight.
- And pretty much I stay in the water all the time except: bathroom, and when the boss isn't looking I take a nice hot shower.
- I came home and I was pretty tired actually.
- $10/hr But in total I work for $180/2weeks

Now I was just wondering, how many hours do you guys work? And the days you work?What is it?

But last question: Do you think $180/2weeks for a Junior in High School is good?(Getting a raise soon)

All the places I ever worked were minimum wage ($7.5/hr), I never stayed anywhere long enough to "deserve" a raise. I tend to be a little OCD, and worked hard, but never made more than that. At the time I was working every day for 4 hours, $410~460 every 2 weeks.
So in your case, yeah its very good, keep the job. I got kicked out of my first job at 13, because I was too young. So hold onto yours, you'll be thankful for having a job, and money going into highschool.

I work 40 hours a week. Full time.

Earn about €9.5 an hour. Dropped out of college last year, I'll be working this whole year and get my drivers license etc, and go back to uni next schoolyear.

I work usually from 14:30 till 22:45 with an hour break total (2x 15mins, 1x 30mins)..It's 6.5 euro/hour before taxes (insurance stuff etc, the standard. atleast here in the netherlands).

It depends on how much I work, sometimes we're done early so ofcourse I earn less than but it's normally 7hours,15mins a day and I get around 210-240euro's a week. I'm 19 btw.

Yes I work fulltime but I plan on going to school ofcourse >.< I just don't know what I want to study atm =/

My job:
- Life guard
- I usually sit in a chair all day, walk, or run the slide.
- $7.62hr
- I work 5hrs Friday 7.5hrs Saturday.

I don't work during the week becasue of homework from college. Parents pay for most of my stuff anyway so who cares.

I wish I had time for a job. But there is none to spare.

I don't work during the school year, though I might pick up a job on campus. During the summer I work for the company that does the food stands on the local boardwalk (amusement park) I was making 8.75 an hour and usually worked around 20-25 hours a week. My best paycheck was around 500 dollars, worked a lot those two weeks, but the paycheck was awesome.

Anyway, same as xmoshe for me. Don't know what I'm gonna study yet.

Full time student.

I got 6.55/7.25hr at my summer job at the golf course. 8hrs a day, 3 days a week, and a Sat or Sun morning for 5hrs tops.

A pittance.

In the summer I was mc jobbin' it making 8.90$ (canadian) an hour. I worked 30-40 hours a week making about 500$ every two weeks, I was 15-16 at the time..

My friend worked at a day camp through the school and made 17.50$ an hour with about 30~ hours a week =|

(no taxes or deductions because I'm under 18)

Started working part-time night auditing/reception for hotels in Manhattan. The real work usually only takes about 30min-4hrs and I get to spend the rest of the 8 hours sleeping, ps3 on 2nd floor, or watch movies/play games in the front desk and leave 2-3 hours early if I do most of the work (and the other guy sleeps or comes in really late). The pay's not bad either. =p

I'm a full-time college student as well.

Don't work yet, volunteer 2 hours a week though =p

I work part time at TJ Maxx, which is a retail store and I get paid $7.25 an hour (minimum wage) and work about 20 hours a week.

I work at Residential Networking on campus about 7 hours a week, its pretty nice.

40ish hours a week depends on my mood throughout the week.

uh about 400ish a week net income.

I'mma apply for something when I turn 16 in a month.

Part-time hopefully.

4 on, 3 off; 12 hour shifts every day I'm on. Fun for the whole family.

never heard of a 16 year old getting full time. infact, im not sure thats legal.

hey i swim too.

I am a care worker, my normal week would be 35 hours. But I also do a sleep in (sleeping at work) which sometimes is 24 hours if I have to work the next day also.

I am minimum wage £5.73 and I get an extra £27 for a sleep in.

"full-time" student.
Do around 20 hours a week of work - around £120 + tips. Work in a pub kitchen which is hell in the summer.
