Bad Habits During Conversations...

So the topic is pretty straightforward, what are some funny/embarrassing/weird habits that you go through when talking to someone(s) (this can include body language and more), and does this differ when talking with someone from a different age group, or someone(s) from the opposite/same sex?
For me, the one habit I can think off the top of my head that i do is repeat things someone else says, mainly questions
eg.
You: Did you study for the exam?
Me: Did i study for the exam?
Me: No, I didn't.
or
ME: I bought a new t-shirt today.
ME: Where did i buy the t-shirt?
ME: From target.
how about everyone else? Share so we can all have something to laugh to and possibly help one another

Same here,and i used have farked up teeth (finishing the the braces now)so when i laughed i would look at the ground. You know like those cutie little girls that look all ashamed

I don't look people in the eyes, seemingly show disinterest in what they have to say, and talk in short, sparse low tones where they can't hear me...

Sometimes I ask a question and then don't pay attention to the answer, so I ask the same question three minutes later. (Mostly with girls.)
I hate having to start a conversation, I like it better when they start talking about something and I just follow the lead.

If i dont hear someone after i've already said pardon twice, i generally pretend to know what they said, and smile and agree. Which can often lead to them giving me a really wierd look.

I dispise small talk, people try to start it with me and I *RAGE* I don’t know what it is about pointless questions, but they piss me off.
I know you don’t give a **** about my kids stfu, I don’t give a **** about the weather and son of a bitch, its still only 830 am, go the **** away.…
and i do the same thing as toasty does, i feel like a tool saying pardon thrice. lol

I absolutely hate when I'm talking to someone on the phone and they start making that sound "choo choo choo". It Farking hurts my ears.

I interrupt people when I no longer care about their message or understand what they were trying to say, like there's no need to say the words I know what's coming so I interrupt them.
People find it annoying, I don't even notice any more

Pretty much the same. Sometimes its just because I suddenly remmeber something really funny and wants to tell it.
I really hate it as I (as you), don't even notice it anymore

i hate the "What?" followed by the answer, after I ask them a question.
it's like, hey maybe once in a while, just be quiet and then answer. learn to not say "what" because that just makes it look like you have bad hearing.

I hate when some people don't end the hand shake till they finish the small talk
Some people come to close to my face i hate that too
If you have nothing to say just let me be
I hate when i'm going somewhere & someone stop me just to chat
they pause cuz they haver notin to say
a hi or a small nod is ok
but if not just walk away

lol. hm I' was EXTREMELY social at like 8th and 9th grade. And yet was never able to look at my teachers in the eye. I'm guessing the stentgh of your socialness is not about how social you were or are? Characteristic?
Depends. Do you hate looking everyone in the eyes? Or are you comfy talking to your best friends while looking them in the eyes?
I dont like looking people in the eye if i dont really like them, or if i feel intimidated by them. But i think most people ar elike that.
If you cant look anyone in the eyes, try to. They might think your being really rude and trying to avoid them otherwise.

There are moments when I say ',you know.' at the end of every scentence in a conversation without noticing it.
I got it from my boss of work I had a few years ago.

Well if someone talks about something that I really don't care about I just say "I don't care". I know it's really really rude but at least my friends know that I'm pretty outspoken so they just leave me be.
