Early today someone was trying to convince me that there are never girls on forums. They said because guys are idiots they avoid them, and even video games in general. I can kind of agree with him, but I don't really agree. So are there any girls on here? I honestly would be surprised. I remember one guy pretending to be one, that was weird.

Yes, there are quite a few girls here, I don't really view them any different though.

Offcourse there are, its just much more guys.

Most are guys. Very farked up guys but guys none the less.

lol i'm not a "......" dots are so not people! also most game makers stereotype girls to be the "go to the mall and buy shoes" type of people though i can name many of my friends that play video games.

Well that stereotype goes well with our school. I don't think any of my friends that are girls play videogames. It just doesn't happen here =/

Are they on consoles or computers? I know there is a fair amount of girls on Halo, but that is about it.

well my friends are the WOW players (at least most of them) but it never stopped them from coming over to my house and play some rock band or something. i'm sure there are plenty of girls in your school that do play games they just don't stand out. because they lack the experience in shoe buying......

I find it hilarious how a lot of people act around girls on the internet especially in MMORPGs. I think that's one of the main reasons I usually dislike the "elite" guilds in most games I play - the guys start drooling at the first sign of a girl in the guild. One of the things I usually do in Cabal is watch the raging army of desperate e-pussy worshipers after you insult or PK a "female" from their guild - especially the ones that flirt a lot with other guild members (I know it seems mean but... )

Ya I hear that a lot too. Our BF2 clan treated this girl with disrespect. It sucked, she seemed normal and nice. Everyone else freakd out :/

Yeah, soooooooooo true. They act like females are the goddess just because they play the MMORPGS with them. Dont get me wrong, i'd act nicer to a girl in general then a guy; cause come on, i wouldnt say somethings to a girl that i would to a guy lol. I'd treat them like i normally would in RL.

Ah yeah >_< it annoys me too. I had that all the time in WoW, female players always got priorities, everyone was always chatting to the girls, being super social. nice, but a bit.. over the top interested.

Happens. Though unless Amarisa is a girl *not sure* we have had all guy responses

I dont view people differently online :S above is only thing that gender matters to me when gaming

there is a guild in my union that consists of mostly girls..or atleast they try to keep it that way..but im sure there are a lot of G.I.R.L's in there (guys in real life)

and actually if anything its the other way around, rather then more going away, more are coming.
