I'm looking for a wireless mouse around $60 atm (preferably with 4 or more buttons), any suggestions?

currently i'm look at these models:

logitech MX revolution
- quite expensive (but is on sale in a store near my place)
- side scroll wheel :D (i like its scroll wheel design)
- seems to be a very good mouse with battery issues after a while... =.=

logitech LX8
- cheaper than MX
- uses AA battery, so no lithium-ion battery issue
- not as good as MX in terms of functionality

logitech VX revolution
- very similar to MX
- cheaper than MX
- also uses AA battery
- dont know about its functionalities

microsoft natural wireless laser 6000
- dont know much about it
- uses AA battery
- i didn't really like its scroll wheel when i used it at my friend's house a couple yrs ago.

I'm using Logitech G7 and never had problem with it. I love the batterys coming with the mouse.

Dunno about those you posted.

I have a MX revolution (bought it with the keyboard combo) Great mouse but I can't play FPS with it because it's not as good as a corded mouse.

It's a laptop mouse which means it's small and inherently sucks cock. And the revolution is bluetooth.

I'm always scared my mouse will go out of batteries (like so many friends' keyboards and mice do) and get yelled at by everyone. Corded for me. What's the advantage of having wireless? You can play from 10 feet away?

well... i'm just getting irritated at the cord, always in my way when playing fps. having a lot of cords also gets the table rly messy.

PS: dom, in what way is it not as good as a cord mouse? sensitivity? dpi?

When I see a guy on my screen and I move my mouse to shoot him, the mouse doesn't track the movement because it doesn't keep up.

Example: I see a guy top right, I move my mouse quickly on him, it moves half way or it skips half way through the movement and I end up dying.

wow... didnt expect a problem like that on a mouse with that kind of pricing. sure it's not a dedicated gaming mouse, but still...

Wireless mice can't track at high G-Force.

could just shorten the cord on mouse :S

twist tie it at the usb end, or just cut it and replace cord

I just wrap my corded mouse around my monitor once. It ties the wire down and any excess wire doesn't get in the way.

I remember trying to game on a wireless, it will get you killed a lot. Just like wireless xbox controllers, they both have a noticeable delay to what happens on screen. Just got wired one.

It just occurred to me that my ps3 controller is also wireless...

I've never experienced any lag with it =\
