Which browser to choose?

yes another one...
I just did a system format on my computer, so now I have IE6 again.
so far i've always been using IE, so I figured that if I was gonna switch browsers this is the time. I liked IE7, IE8 was crap.
anyway I was wondering whether I should just start using a different browser: ff, Opera, Chrome.
I'm very sceptical about FF, so you'll need some really good arguements to make me choose that one, otherwise I'm tempted to try opera. I don't really have any thoughts on Chrome, as I know nothing about it.
Also Just a side-question:
What's the version of MSN, before it turned into that crappy version?

Go for Opera, its pretty much the savest one + its stable and fast.
Since u are already sceptical about FF it would be the best to go for Opera, Chrome is ... well if u like beeing watched by google

Just try all of them and choose for yourself. If you're tempted to try Opera then go for it.

What's the main feature for Opera? I'm using FF and I like it a lot because of the add-ons and the skin I'm using matches with my desktop =p

interface is similar to a mix of IE7 and IE6
I notice that it's very fast. I think it has pretty neat skins, but I don't use those much. I guess it just works straightforward.
although I am experiencing problems logging in on youtube D:

Chrome FTW, it's small, fast, what else u need. Anyways, i've got all of the browsers
FF for hattrick addons, Opera for Silkroad Homepage, and Chrome for everything else

I'm used to be a FireFox user. I'm still using it, sometimes.
Chrome is way faster.
Both of them are goods.

Speed dial and many other features that don't require add-ons.
The downside of Opera is some websites don't display correctly with Opera. If you frequently use add-ons, there is no reason to use Opera since you could probably achieve the same functionality through add-ons.
Chrome is pretty much a stripped down version of Opera.

Firefox is definitely the best.
However, if you're using sites like twitter or Facebook i would recommend you flock. Flock is actually Firefox just... modified so it fits to people which uses social sites. It uses all the same add-on's as Firefox does because its basically the same.

too many people saying Firefox, no one actually even trying to give a reason. I already chose Opera, but I'm still curious as to why people choose ff. My sister uses it, but tbh I like it alot less than Opera.

Chrome is way faster but i use Flock (same as firefox)

Chrome.
I used to browse with FF but it loads too slow because of the addons that I have. I decided to just screw it and stick to Chrome. I still use FF though, for certain websites.
Plus there's incognito mode.

ahh good, then I guess you could offer me some help. I need the wmp plugin. when I click on a plugin element it takes me to the opera site where they say download 'this' and install. but the dload says it's for firefox and it won't work for me.

i find it funny how so many people are saying chrome even though firefox is still winning.
i've tried them all. IE is shit. opera was nice, but there was a lot of things i wanted it to do that it just wouldn't, for example, an easy way to block ads. i didn't like chrome due to the web 2.0 faggotry. i still use firefox 2, its just as fast as opera was.
btw, safari is babies.
