Looking for a device

That functions like a PC for watching TV, but isn't a PC. It's a small thing that you put in a usb drive or something and then watch the movies. It sort of cancels the need for a multi media PC.
I saw it around somewhere but can't find it again, anyone know what I'm talking about? Does anyone have experience with these things?

No, I'm looking for something that looks like a cube, it has the codecs to play .avi and whatnot and streams this to the TV.
It cancels out the need to buy a PC to watch your downloaded movies on your TV. You insert a USB drive into it with the movies and then you can play the movie on your TV. It's sort of like a PC, but it can only process movie files and streams this to the TV.
I realize my wording was strange sorry.
