How would I tell if it's fake or not?
It doesn't have any writing other than some Chinese characters that I don't know.
Btw I bit it and it dented, what does that mean?

Bite it.
If it tastes like chocolate, you have got yourself a chocolate coin.

well if it bent by biting either it means it's very fake, or of very high Carat. try wiki for gold masses and weigh you block

I don't have anything to accurately weigh it.

well than...there's some stuff you can use to identify the carat...basicly you just drip a bit of it, and if it changes colour or w/e it passes, but I don't really remeber how it works and what the stuff was. either way just take it to a jeweller.

Go outside and rub the gold on the ground. If the color peels off and you see a gray color it is fake.
Try pointing it at the sun, if it reflects sunlight hen it is fake ( I think)

he'd have to have a very high HD camera that can zoom in like crazy and I mean CRAZY for us to be able to tell it through a pic which one of us would have to show that big pic to a jeweler and even then I think it may not be the right angle to tell ^^
lol? I jsut want to se how big is it, so i can maybe say how much it worth

(even if its fake :B)

just use that 19.3 grams/ml thing.
fill a glass which you know exactly how much it holds to the top. drop the golden item in it and measure how much water has spilled out. afterwards just do the ml x 19.3 and then check of that is about right with it's weight. you can go to a supermarket or something to measure it precisly, you know on those fruit scales xD.

friend of mine has a pure gold ring.
It dents and bends out of shape really really easely.
But yea, its obiously fake for sure if its way to light.
And
Sun Test: Once you have seen your first Gold you will never forget it. A quick and easy test is to note the color and brightness of the gold in your gold pan. Now shadow your Gold pan. Anything that is not Gold will become dull or fade. Gold will retain its color and luster – it will still be golden, just Gold in the shade.
All that Glitters isn't Gold: Remember that song, well the truth is simple. If it glitters it probably ain't Gold. Look at the material in the sunlight if it is all a glitter it is a 99.999 chance it is not gold.
Or just take it to a jeweler and ask them to do a carat test on it/ estimate the value.

I cover my hand w/ it and it's still shiny, I guess it's real but I could always be wrong.
