You can eat bacon and cheese and all the "crappy" fats you want as long as you do it correctly. Correctly being, don't eat any direct carb sources. It makes your body go in ketosis and use ketones, from fat, for energy. I did it this summer to lose an extra 10 lbs of body fat before soccer season started. Was awesome being able to have lots of bacon, peperoni, cheese, meats etc while "dieting".

Just thought I'd throw that in here. This kid on the other hand, is getting plenty o carbs AND fats. lol

what are you on the heart attack plan. Bacon and cheese and all the "crappy" fats are bad for you. They clog arteries, lead to heart disease, liver failure, etc. All trans fats are bad and you only need to eat a small amount of saturated fats per day. There is no "right" way to eat all the bacon, cheese, and fatty meat you want without suffering consequences.

I know what it is and i also know that its extremely controversial and for good reason and its frowned upon for long term health issues afaik

like i said at the end of the day there is no way you can eat all the unhealthy junk you want with no consequences. Doing anything that upsets the bodys natural order like tricking it into thinking its starving so it can burn through your fat can never have good consequences. Maybe for a quick fix but never in the long term...

but like i said its controversial meaning both sides seem to have equal merit or at least both sides are being stubborn...i guess if you're into that sort of thing knock yourself out but do it with caution...
