Any Audiophiles in the House?

I've been looking for a set of good headphones for using with my mp3 and computer. I really liked the way the Sony XB500 feel and sound plus they are fairly affordable although that isnt much of a problem.
If anyone knows anything about these headphones or has an opinion on a pair that they like please let me know. My budget is about $150.
Thanks

Well I used to listen to my mp3 player 24/7..not so much now.
jbl 220 I think..i'm not really sure though. They sound 100x better than anything else I've used though.
Downside is, they're earphones and not headphones >.>

Its true, I can speak to it. If you dont use them too often its ok but if you blast music with them for years, it will eventually start hurting your ears.
There's always a price for convenience.

^^ basically , that company started out of california, from a guy named rick alden ,I wouldnt pay for a pair of his headphones if they were the last ones in cali, he usually shows up to the mountain with packs of those plastic ones with the removable caps and gives em out haha , but now they are blowing up and have a pretty damn good snowboard team

They do not suck, maybe over priced a bit, but I love them and the quality is great, so don't hate!

Here are my 2 favourite headphones not earphones. They provide great quality and sound. Me and my whole fps gaming clan uses the Allan & Heath Xone headphones, and well, we swear by them...

I use philips stereo headphones SBC HP195. I gotta tell you, they were cheap, but i've never heard a more clear sound in my life, they actually have better sound than my computer's soundboxes, and the bass is better as well :O
if i'd compare skull candy with this I'd rate SC 4/10, and these probably a 19, cus i've never actually heard better...
http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/headphone/philips-sbc-hp195/apparantly this is the price in pounds when bought brandnew. but when i looked through google I saw them for 11 euro as well (unfortunately the site was in dutch so I didn't bother). I don't think we spent more than 20 euro on them either.

I'd suggest a high-end sennheiser headphone. I have a mid-end HD205 and it owns so much.

I disagree. Headphones can be even more damaging. If you are in a louder setting, you have to turn them up louder to still hear music, but EARphones put the music straight into your damn head lol, requiring a much lower volume. Get a quality pair of earphones, and you dont need to blast sound into your head.

I'd have to disagree with you. It depends on the type of headphones youre using. If you are using open headphones then yea you might have that problem, but if youre using closed headphones then you prolly wont have the problem considering they will block out a fair amount of noise to begin with.
In the end it comes down to how loud you listen to your music. Headphones can damage your ears, dont get me wrong, but the form of the two makes a big difference.

earphones wont hurt your ears too bad, just dont play them too loud for long periods of time. Im talking like years of use.
idk its up to you
