Its not about the fact that the dog was "saved" - you're right, he looked more dead than alive to me too, but the point is that another dog came back to rescue him from the freeway, risking his own neck in the process.

actually I think most drivers would want to stop for animals but its way too dangerous on the highway. You can't slow down like you can on a local road.

uh...no not unless there are barely any cars and if you see the dog like 200 feet away can you slow down. And stopping in the middle of the highway is insane, not to mention that you'll get a ticket cause your being a danger to yourself and other drivers.
