my friend wused to work for a gamestop and the customers were just ignorant
for example. a lady and her 9 year old son come in thre store to buy grand theft auto. my friends warns her that its rated M for mature. she doesnt pay attenton. so she buys it. later that day th mother comes into the store all mad saying this game has bad things(hoockers shooting cops and so on).
then the kids that come by after school to browse and never buy anything

Well I guess this is matter of opinnion but imo that kind of arguments would make the job more interesting. Cos sitting in the shop doing nothing would get little bit boring.

And when people are browsing games in game shop that is just one path to buying those games. If the kids find something they go home and make their parents buy those games. Maybe later than you would whish.

Could never been a waiter.

I work part time in a kitchen at a pub.. and the amount of times the waiters come back in pissed off the customers being pricks.. and your never allowed to argue back to them. So, no thanks.

you know that little thing up their in your head? Up behind your eyes? Yeah, its called a brain. Why don't you use it and teach some high school kids their trigonometry?

$20/hour sitting comfortably in the library tutoring >>>>>>>>>>> $7.50/hour frying burgers and feeling like a loser

I would never want to work in a fast food place or places like dunkin donuts :\. I dunno why, just don't like them :|. Another place I hate working (though its really volunteering, so its not a job) is the library, too chilly -.-. I wanna work as a cashier in a place like staples/711, even though it'd be boring, its better than watching everyone eat while you are hungry like hell

Everyone says they won't take fast food jobs and what not. Once you have to start paying for gas you'll take any job you can get, trust me.

Some people hate asking for money. I'm one of them; I don't ask unless it's absolutely dire and I can't afford out of my own pocket. But for things like gas money, money for food, etc. If I don't have the money myself, I don't get to have gas, food, etc.

But OT: Part time job I probably could never do is dish washer/bus boy. I do enough of that shit at home.

I am a swimming instructor teaching little kids, sometimes older people, how to swim.

I have to say my job sucks big balls because first you gotta understand all the swimming lessons which is fcking boring to read. Then I have to teach the little kids but then they end up playing in the water when I am telling them what to do next. And once my students don't pass the swimming test given, my supervisor lectures me and sometimes yells at me.

I have to stand in cold water all day freezing my balls off.

One time a kid scratched my fcking nipple.

I like to swim but I don't like to teach swimming...

Thats just being lazy  I'm sure that even if you find two jobs that pay the exact same wage, you'll get more out of one than the other. Its always a good idea to research jobs before getting hired

You misinterpreted my post :o I said that even if they both pay the same wage, one job might, for example, be more educational than the other (not entirely manual labor). Its the same wage, only you're getting "paid" something a little extra.
