nothing like bumping your own threat
Recipe thread

and Mr.Ganji yes i dont think there is a single person out there who doesnt know about google but the constructive critism helps, personally for food its better to ask for a recipe then google as their are many variations to recipes that add different qualitys, fine for a program that dont change no matter where you get it from fine but google isnt the best thing for everything

Crust:
1 1/2 Cups of Graham Cracker Crumbs
1 Tsp Cinnamon
A Pinch of Ground Cloves
2 Tbsp Sugar
1 Stick of Butter

Cake Mixture:
24oz Cream Cheese (3 packages of 8oz cream cheese *regular*)
4 Eggs
1 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1/3 cup Amaretto

1). Mix the butter (melted), cloves, cinnamon, sugar, and graham cracker crumbs until mixed well. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9in pie pan. Leave in fridge for a few to set.

2). Beat together the amaretto and cream cheese till light and fluffy. Slowly beat in the cup of sugar and heavy whipping cream next. Last, beat in the eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.

3). Pour the cake mixture over the crust in the pan, and bake in a 375 degree oven for 45~50mins, or when you insert a knife/toothpick in the center it comes out clean.

*also, a tip is to put an empty pan on the bottom rack underneath the pie when baking and fill it with water so the cake doesn't dry out during the baking process*

i'd take the cloves out of that recipe...or at least that much cloves...if you get the cinnamon sugar graham crackers (i recommend) they're more than make up for them, that recipe reads sounds like one hell of a spiced cheesecake which might overpower the actual point, the cheesecake, not compliment it nicely...

First thing that came to mind was a bunch of men in a village stoning the strawberry. Then it was a strawberry sitting on the couch with a bag of doritos watching cheech and chong.

Yeah, I try to take the measurements off the top of my head most of the time. I usually just throw it in by eye. Guessed around 1/4 teaspoon. Probably a bit less than that, I could just say a pinch then...

But then again the cloves are just going into the crust. Still have the actual cheese cake w/ the amaretto. Balances quite well if you measure the spices just right.
