well its 2 am here on the east coast and i was just flipping through channels when i stopped at the colbert report for just a second
usually i dont really have any strong political opinions but the way things are now its just getting stupid
anyway...
the colbert report was talking about one of fox's political commentators who recently lost quite a few sponsors for saying just outright stupid things on national television
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZ7LTNgh1ZM :50 is the specific instance)
this thing that made me want to make this thread is the fact that i know a lot of people take what people say on TV as gospel (like my parents >.>) so im wondering is there any to get america actually thinking again?
right now when someone asks them about their political opinions they just say 'im on that side' nobody thinks ok to agree with some things and disagree with others because of people on TV screaming that youre a nazi or something if you dont agree

the US media fills us with lies or one sided information or even plain old stupid information
