I really wanna know if its worth it jailbreaking ur iPhone. I know it loses the warranty but it provides way more stuff than the app store and they're for free :P. So should I or should I not

just went through the internet and found something called Cydia which seems to be pretty good for jailbroken iPhones. I jailbroke my iTouch back when they first came out, at first it was pretty good but like a couple of months after it got fcked up so i resetted it and continued normally. what do u use to find sources and add the apps?

Lul dopple...

But OT, I jb'ed.

Pros:
-I can have a wallpaper (matters a lot to me)
-I can get free apps if I really want to... (though I've never actually done this...)
-It tells me battery life in quantified values

Cons
-Perhaps slower, I'm not sure
-Top bar dissapears sporadically (not really a big deal... but...)
-Not approved by Apple

It all seems worth it. Untill you get that first technical error, oops.

It's totally worth it!, and it won't rly void your warranty, since if you do have to bring it into an apple store, just restore your iphone back to the current firmware, it leaves no trace

I Jailbreaked my iPhone to get features that are now included in OS 3.0. So for me it's basically useless untill they make new programs/cool features that are JB-only.

And yes, it DOES make your iPhone/iPod slower
