so my cousin came over yesturday while i was away. he used my pc i usually dont care if he uses it. well this time he gave me a virus. i dont know how to get rid of it
all it does when my pc starts it sends me to this link then it freezes my mouse for like 4 min

i have no idea how to fix it or w.e
ppl have commented on on the video saying they got it too. and some ppl help but i dont know what to do even with that help. im pc stupid. so step by step would help;o

you might try googling something about virus sending you to youtube, what exactly is the video?

"turns out it was a executable called mMLBYdLenD.exe in system32. Just delete it, or remove it from the msconfig list in order to stop it from loading automatically."

But I guess you should try it, I see nothing about that file when searching, did you check if its really there?

C/Windows/System32, find that exe file and delete it
or go Start>Run msconfig. Click Startup and find that same file and uncheck the checkbox.

i cant find both those files
i checked under the system32 and nothing there

and the system config is a weird
onlything i see that has to do with system32 is:
igfxtray.exe.
hkcmd.exe
gfxpers.exe
so might is be one of those?

Well, a youtube comment isn't the best source for info I guess.


I'd start searching around for virus scanning stuff, or find a forum meant for this, i'm sure you'd get better help.

lol i guess but it wa my only way to start it off
cant i just check off my confgi start up
to see which one it is it may take a while
like trial and error or w.e
im sure its one of those since it starts off when i turn on my pc

I would go into fail-safe mode and do what ofy1993 said. Then it wont prevent you from removing any unknown apps from startup or delete them totally. And if it doesnt start when you boot up your pc, then it might just be some addon for your web browser which usually can be removed through add/remove programs

i unchecked 3 boxes from the start up
and now the video doesnt appear so it was one of those just got to see which one it is then uncheck the ones i need
then delete that one?

lol i istalled it than ran a scan and it didnt find anything at all...

If you still got problems i'd suggest you to try out "Spybot : Search & Destroy"

EDIT : And if it was one of those startup apps, then you probably dont need to remove it. As long as it doesnt run it cant make any harm.

i have spybot and destroy its the one i mainly use
and no its not a problem(i guess)
i just stopped it from starting up when i turn on my pc. so meh?

Take an SS of your startup options and I can tell you which one it is (You said you unchecked 3.. should probably check back the other two)
