schools almost at an end and the final exams are coming my way..
i have just completed my trial/practice exams, reasonable results i guess.

im posting this thread in the hope for some tips and advice for my final year.. i would also like to hear your stories on whatever you wish to share

some questions to get the discussion started:

- how was your final year of school?
- are you satisfied with your final year results?
- did you get into the course u were hoping for?
- any regrets?

I just finished highschool and I'm very satisfied with my final results, even though I was scared to death and havent really studied as much as I was supposed to. So much stress though.. for nothing

I mostly skipped classes this last year lol, and then at the end we all got emo cause we wont see eachother sooften anymore. Some of my very good friends I made during these 4 years of highschool are moving to england =/ so yeah pretty sad

Now I'm waiting for Uni to start, sounds like fun from what i heard, not so much stress anymore, and I'm also gettin a job soon so yay money lol

I wish you goodluck with your final year and dont stress too much, it will al be ok in the end^^

Last year coming up for me as well. I always tell myself I'll do my best next year, but I never do.

- how was your final year of school?
it was fkin crazy, in my highschool we always have queen and president elections, were 5th and 6th course do campaigns to gain votes.
from 5-6th we won 3/4 elections. unfortunately the only time we lost, it was by 3 VOTES, and it was because 1 of our classes had gone to the mountains on voting day, so we lost around 45 votes in favor. ironically, the party we had after the loss was FKIN WILD. booze all over the place, lots of chicks, a pool and jacuzzi, poker, etc.
i don't remember doing any serious work in 6th course, i remember i slacked alot and skipped classes, insulted a couple teachers, got in trouble, partied alot, made alot of new friends.

- are you satisfied with your final year results?
indifferent. it says "Very Good" on my diploma, 18/20 isn't that bad i guess. and i was told highschool scores don't even matter that much, it's all university scores later on. so be prepared to work your ass off, it's your future.

- did you get into the course u were hoping for?
you mean university? yeah i got in the most privileged university in my country, with almost all my closest friends, still having a great time and doing fairly well in my studies.

- any regrets?
highschool regrets? maybe chickening out in a few situations, not being as wild as others, not doing as much crazy shit. still, highschool memories are by far the ones that inspire the highest amount of laughter.

Every year i say to myself.: I go do all my homework, i'm going to get good notes.. But after 1 month its like.. Ah, nvm.

ur school is ending now? and i thought i my school was late
going to college in a month

uh started cutting alot more classes grades dropped still passed

yeah i graduated in the end.

didn't apply for college just going straight to work get an apprenticeship maybe.
- any regrets?
not really, a better place to work?

i've been free of school for around 5 weeks now, still a month to go . And i have 2 years to go till I graduate, so I have some time left to pick a course or university

i just finished 6th grade. 6th grade was a blast, best year and yeah, i got good grades.
