Latest AVG Definition Kills iTunes

For anyone that uses AVG and iTunes, please ensure that you give iTunes an exception or don't update to the latest virus definition. The latest definition update detects iTunes as a Small.BOG trojan horse, which AVG are currently working on to fix this issue.
Just giving everyone a heads up.

Is iTunes like better to use than Windows Media player or something?
Haven't seen a performance shift while using either one.

I always thought iTunes was shitty..many people told me it took lots of resources compared to others as well. Never had any hands on with it but I don't really plan to. I'll stick to winamp/foobar

WMP is much faster than iTunes. iTunes on Windows is super bloated and a huge resource hog. Winamp is also a nice alternative.

I only use iTunes to transfer stuff to my ipod. WMP for all my musics/videos done on my computer

I installed iTunes long time ago but i never used it... i guess i'll uninstall it right now.

+1 If I didn't have an Ipod pobaly wouldn't had download it at all.

Best music players IMO. Currently using winamp cos it has nice G15 plugin^^ Songbird is kinda fun too but it's kinda heavy program.

AVG> Resident Shield> Manage Exceptions> Create New Path> C:/Program Files/ iTunes

I love my itunes.
I like being able to rip/play/manage/buy from the same program.
I used foobar for a bit. I liked the skins but it doesn't seem as deep or developed as itunes. and WMP blows cock.

Agreed. I was devastated when my iTunes got corrupted because of AVG's mess up. The latest signature fixes this bug anywho, so everyone is free to update their AVG virus signature
