I think the big deal wasn't that he got dunked on. It was the reaction afterwards where they tried to confiscate any videos that were being made so the dunk wouldn't be shown.

The big deal isn't the dunk itself. Its the fact that Nike took all the tapes just after it happened so they can protect his image. Even the greats have been dunked on countless times but Nike were making Lebron out to be some kind of basketball god. Reports were that after it happened Lebron went to his managers and told them what happened and for them to take the tapes. Its one thing if the managers did it without lebron knowing but if the reports of him are true that he told his managers to take all the tapes then look how much of a punk ass sore loser he is.

The big deal is that basketball players use dunking on another player as a way of insulting the player's ability to defend them(think of it as a dozens game, only with basketball). Nike then scrambles to remove the videos to keep the stain off of their "star".

I'm sad that Nike made it look like it was the greatest dunk ever and it happened to be on Lebron James. But it happened to be this pussy dunk where Lebron just stuck an arm up from the side.

I like lebron, but he was 'hype' eons ago. now hes just lebron. If he doesnt own, were mad. So go own, lebron. Christ. And you shoulda seen the shit hit the fan when he won that game with a 3 pointer with a second left on the clock, thats like every basketball players dream shot right there. dear god.
