So my girlfriend of 11 months went on holiday with a friend(a guy) and he is being an idiot and keep leaving her, last night he tried to kiss her and she slapped him. she went back to the hotel and he came back throwing things around and shouting etc (he was drunk). So my girl calls me crying i freak out and book the next flight out, leaving Friday.
Went into work and asked for it off with none payed leave they said no, so i quit.
Am i mad, my mum and dad seem to think so aswell as my friends?!
I would want someone to do this for me if it ever happened to me lol, only problem was the only flights out were £667 and then the hotel that they are staying at is £400ish for the week, plus food and drink im bringing another £600.
/i didnt go on the holiday in the first place incase i was not going out with her at the time of the holiday.

I wouldn't say you're mad. Although I don't think you acted rationally. You have to calm down.

I think I would do the same thing. Or maybe book the next flight home for your girlfriend, if things are that bad and she needs to come home.

Be cheaper to pay gay strippers to show up at his door - more effective too.

But why didn't you go with her and her guy friend in the first place? If you wanted to go on holiday?

I think it would be hard to go on holiday with someone you just broke up with, watching them around other guys etc...thats why i didnt go. When it was booked we were only going out like 2-3 months.

Leaving her as in walking away and leaving her alone...?

Why would you also trust her with a male friend on vacation, and couldn't she go on vacation with you?
Do you even know the guy?

Because then she wouldn't be able to re-enact the music video to the 1985 hit song "Holding Out for a Hero", by Bonnie Tyler.

Oh, I thought you meant he left her in a relationship sense. Shoulda said "leaving her alone."
Anyway, I agree with xemnas she should just come home. If it's bothering her enough for you to go, it should bother her enough for her to come back.
But, seeing as your already going and the question was are you "mad", no. You're irrational.

the smart thing would have been to just have called them on the day of your flight and told them that you were ill and couldnt come in.

I wouldn't feel comfortable letting a lover stay at a hotel with a friend of the opposite sex when I wasn't there tbh....

Best friend only feels more threatening.
I don't trust people and have reason not to from past experiences. And, I know how women work.

sounds like your the jealous controlling type...girls just love a man who gets pissy when they hang out with their established long time friends...

I do :3 Well not pissy but yar
I'm best friends with a girl I've known since kinder, we talked like 4 hours everyday and her boyfriend hated my guts. *cough* I had no intention of going out with her nor did I like her. We were just friends.

Sounds like you don't know much about girls or anything about me personally. I do believe I said "from past experiences", if you have ever had the luxury of someone you loved and were even engaged to destroy your trust after being together for 6 years then you might understand. Most, if not all the boyfriends I've had also felt the way I do.
So please, let's have a little one on one talk before you can properly evaluate me.
