I just watched it from my building :D Awesome

"Blasting through light streaks of clouds hanging around from a storm 70 miles away, space shuttle Endeavour successfully blasted into space at 6:03 p.m. from Kennedy Space Center.

Carrying a crew of seven, including commander Mark Polansky and pilot Doug Hurley, Endeavour is heading for space and a Friday meeting with the international space shuttle.

There appeared to be no problems in the launch.

The liftoff comes on NASA's sixth attempt. The same weather that delayed launches Saturday,Sunday and Monday broke up just an hour before launch time."

Thought they were switching to their new torpedo shuttle design and decomissioning these.

God, the private space industry has them so beat, getting into space doesnt take then a gajillion gallons of rocket fuel larger than the damn shuttle itself then eject the tanks off into space costing millions of dollars each time.
