I'm sorry that I'd like to have a bottle a water to go and then easily thrown into the trashcan nearby. I should think more carefully and carry a single sports bottle(or similar) around with me to fill up as I go. I won't mind that it's empty and I have to hold onto it or anything.
I see that many people buy water when we can get it off the faucet, but a bottle of water is just so convenient nowadays.

Ever watch Pen and Tellers show called "Bullshit" ?
They did an episode on bottled water. Most all bottled water is tap water straight out of the factory.
They even went to this elegant restaraunt filling different empty water bottles with the garden hose. Served it to customers who made all kinds of comments on how good the bottled water was. Some of it was rich people type water that cost a small fortune. All from the garden hose.

Most dont drink tap cause of the taste, also if the pipes dont get cleaned good there's some tastes and smells that a filter wont take out. I get my water from a mountain spring, back in the mountains, bring a few of those big water jugs and that lasts awhile, and yeah most bottled water is tap but filtered and cleaned. Some bottle water taste like crap still...others dont. Theres a local one that taste good.

I usually buy bottled water, when i've foolishly disposed of the previous bottle.
Normally I just refill it, untill I accidentally lose it.

I thought that wasn,t safe. Cause of the bacteria that can develop in the bottle.

Which probably would be the case, if you'd let it stand on a counter in the sun for a week.

If I buy bottled water, I save the bottle, clean it out and reuse it till I lose. I rarely buy bottled water, rather use a Nalgene instead and if the water tastes bad, use a brita filter.

God forbid you try rinsing the bottle out with tap water eh?

Reminds me of an "only fools and horses" episode, where they bottle tap water. And they say they found a spring in Peckham, but at the same time they are dumping toxic waste in the river and it is getting into the drinking water. I'll have a look on youtube later for the video.

just you then top water tasters often find tap water to compete with top bottled water and even be better for taste..though tbh it lacks taste xD

The tap water in America is more more being polluted with hormones altering pesticides and products that don't get properly cleaned out with filters.
But i don't drink water period, or anything without sugar for that matter...i make kool-aid...though in retrospect its still disgustingly polluted estrogen inducing kool-aid it has sugar so im happy...

*Looks at room*
*Counts 10 empty water bottles from today alone*
>_> I used to refill my bottles, but I started losing them so now I just grab like 3 or 5 and drink a whole bottle when I get thirsty. My parents buy several boxes(?) wholesale so there's always bottled water. If I run out there's always water from the fridge.

Water tastes gross, from tap or bottle. I always saw buying bottled water as a waste of money.
