I just moved into a new apartment and my microwave says it needs to be plugged into a grounded outlet. I don't think this apartment has any grounded outlets so my questions are. Does it really need to be plugged into a grounded outlet? Is there anyway I can make an outlet grounded?

edit: I don't know what a grounded outlet is...Is it an outlet with switches? Or is it just a three pronged outlet?

They all should be grounded. The bottom prong. Cant imagine an apartment being allowed to live in if it didn't have grounded plugs.
