I watched like the first 20 mins of Venus vs Serena, when they were walking onto the court. They both seemed so...depressed, not even a hint of a smile. No sportsmanship whatsoever, they didn't say one word to each other, didn't even shake hands or wish the other good luck. Its bringing competitivness to the extreme like that which reveals the darker side to the sport. I wouldn't be suprised, given the opportunity, they would trade the other one in for the Wimbledon title.

I hate Roddick. There's no good English translation for it, but in Dutch I'd say he's a proleet.

I think they just act like that because if they didn't they might bust out laughing. Think about the international scrutiny too. If they seem like they're too relaxed people might accuse them of not playing to their top b/c they're against each other, fixing the game, etc. I think more of the pressure probably comes from that than the tennis.

Great games too. Tennis rocks. I was sad that he won, I liked the other guy.
