I reinstalled Windows live today because it was giving me a hard time.
Worked fine after that, then I installed zonealarm because I just reformatted.
Now its not working even though zonealarm is giving it full access.


Error 81000306: You cannot sign in to Windows Live Messenger

tried everything there, any suggestions?


Tried uninstalling and reinstalling
and it just wont install now -.-

Run as admin? Add it to the windows firewall exceptions? disable zonealarm and see if that's what's not letting it connect. If it connects then you know it's zonealarm.

Check to see if your antivirus has IM protection or not, I had that error for like a month, then found out I had to turn off IM protection on AVG...
