Suggestions please - music

Soooo I need suggestions for some new tunes. Lately I've been listening to a lot of hip-hop which I've was never into before, I grew up on punk, post-punk, grunge and metal, mmk? Anyway, if anyone could point me towards good artists that aren't so well known, I'd appreciate it. I tend to gravitate towards underground or indie music, so don't tell me to go listen to Jay Z or Rihanna or some mainstream bullshit like that. I don't mind old school suggestions though, I have a very limited musical experience in this genre Thanks!
